Non Ferrous

The TTUK Non Ferrous department is involved in the importation, stocking and delivery of non ferrous metals in the form of coil, blanks, bar and pipe. Thanks to our worldwide network of offices, we can source from large mills and small specialist producers.

TTUK's expertise in supply chain management means that we are experts in managing customer forecasts, supply side lead-times and minimal stockholding to ensure an efficient and effective supply.

Heat exchange applications

We import in excess of 5,500 metric tonnes of aluminium coil, sheet tube and clad tube for use in heat exchange applications each year. Through our overseas offices we have access to most of the major producers globally, supplying standard and customer specific materials.

Once in the UK, this material is held in our own warehouses before being delivered to our customers on same day / next day basis.

Our experience in handling materials over many years has led us to be able to improve our customers supply chain effectiveness and costs, through packaging improvements, stock reduction etc.

Aluminium ingot

We supply secondary aluminium ingot to our customers from suppliers within UK and Europe, including our Toyota Tsusho group smelting company in Poland.

Aluminium scrap material

We export aluminium scrap to our molten aluminium factories globally from scrap producers across the UK and Europe. Supplying suitably sorted and graded aluminium scrap for re-use in our factories which supply molten aluminium to car engine and wheel manufacturers minimises costs for our customers, as well as ensuring re-use of this valuable resource.
