Toyota Tsusho UK is a subsidiary of the Toyota Tsusho Corporation, the sixth largest trading company in the world with 26,000 employees and over 30 offices and 180 subsidiaries around the world.

Established in 1948, the Toyota Tsusho Corporation focuses on purchase, supply chain, import, export, storage and distribution. Toyota Tsusho has a variety of operations in six key business areas.

• Automotive
• Produce and Foodstuffs

These divisions unite to work together in every possible way to meet unique requirements of each particular client, across all of these business sectors. A merger with the Tomen Corporation in 2006 not only expanded the Toyota Tsusho Group, but it gave us even greater opportunities to synergize the products and services we provide to customers worldwide.

In 1992, the two existing UK branches of Toyota Tsusho Corporation based in London and Derby combined to establish Toyota Tsusho UK Ltd, to continue supporting existing customers, and to provide manufacturing and supply chain support to the new UK Toyota Motors manufacturing plants which opened in Derby in 1994.

Since then, we have achieved exponential growth and now operate from locations in London, Castle Donington, Derby and Bradford, and through our subsidiary operations at Telford, Burnaston and Deeside.
